Lithium Tetraborate
(Li2B4O7 or LTB) has attracted
much attention as a newly developed single crystal which has potential
application to surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. It is characterized
by a low-temperature coefficient of the delay time, high electro-mechanical
coupling constant and large piezoelectric constant.
